SOLD – 3’6″x5’2″ Extravagant Persian Isfahan Masterpiece

This wool and silk rug, woven into a silk foundation, is beyond eye-catching. An instant conversation piece. The undulating and winding patterns of ice blue and ivory foliage create an absolutely gorgeous design when layered on top of a lavish red background. Silk highlights catch the eye throughout, a testament to the craftsmanship that went into creating the piece. The border is reflective of the leafy motifs from the field, but placed upon a river of midnight blue with banks of sky blue. The central medallion is remarkable in its composition, encased in layers of cream, light mint green, mocha, and a tasteful garnishes of royal red.
