5’3″ x 6’5″ P-Gabbeh Rug (ORG58-004)


Gabbehs are made of natural, handspun wool yarn and all the colors are created with natural plant dye.  In Persian ‘gabbeh’ means ‘fringe’.  Also translated to unclipped or long pile carpets. The Gabbeh is a very simple hand-woven rug, traditionally tribal made by nomadic people, in southern Iran, Pakistan and India. Therefore each carpet is unique. This rug has a color palette of grays, black and ivory.
