9’10″x13′ High-End Semi-Antique Northwest Persian Heriz

This piece is considered a tribal masterpiece, from the workmanship, the thoughtfulness of design, and the quality of materials used, this piece is a gem of a rug. Hailing from the mountainous North West regions of Iran, this rug exemplified Heriz in its purest form. The amount of space in the field allow the vines and branches to dance openly. One of the more noteworthy elements of this piece is the unusual amount of green used. Other colors include deep and earthy saffron, salmon, rose, indigo, a very handsome red, highlighted with antique beige and slatey blue.
