This piece really should speak for itself– this semi-antique gem of a rug embraces the fierce high-contrast colors and weaving of the Bakhtiari design, and uses them for a very uncommon floral and traditional design, creating a true harmony throughout the rug between the traditional and the tribal worlds. Covered in a hazy rust-red with stark contrasts of near blackened rose, a bright and pristine ivory, and a tasteful accent of ocean blue, this piece is one of the author’s personal favorites.
